Played first, ABACI removes about 87.7% of the possible-answer list on average and scores 3.90 bits of information. Its first-turn information ranks #12,153 out of 14,855 Wordle guesses tested. It is not on the possible-answer list, but it can still be useful because of the feedback groups it creates.

Tried against 1,875 past Wordle answers, ABACI left an average of 287 possible answers standing after the first guess. Its largest group in that replay came on August 3, 2026, when the answer was REPLY and 633 candidates survived.
