After each row, the solver combines each board's strongest options and tests every shared guess against all remaining answer lists. It normally chooses the word that leaves the fewest possibilities in total.

Fewest guesses: first maximizes the chance of solving within six, then minimizes average guesses among those wins.
Most info: highest entropy on the first guess.
Fewest left: smallest average shortlist after the first guess.
