Played first, HEARE removes about 94.5% of the possible-answer list on average and scores 5.10 bits of information. Its first-turn information ranks #1,789 out of 14,855 Wordle guesses tested. It is not on the possible-answer list, but it can still be useful because of the feedback groups it creates.

Tried against 1,876 past Wordle answers, HEARE left an average of 125 possible answers standing after the first guess. Its largest group in that replay came on August 5, 2026, when the answer was POSIT and 375 candidates survived.
