Played first, MOERS removes about 94.8% of the possible-answer list on average and scores 5.10 bits of information. Its first-turn information ranks #1,776 out of 14,855 Wordle guesses tested. It is not on the possible-answer list, but it can still be useful because of the feedback groups it creates.
Tried against 1,858 past Wordle answers, MOERS left an average of 123 possible answers standing after the first guess. Its largest group in that replay came on July 12, 2026, when the answer was CLACK and 300 candidates survived.
