Played first, CHOGS removes about 88.7% of the possible-answer list on average and scores 4.26 bits of information. Its first-turn information ranks #9,477 out of 14,855 Wordle guesses tested. It is not on the possible-answer list, but it can still be useful because of the feedback groups it creates.

Tried against 1,877 past Wordle answers, CHOGS left an average of 264 possible answers standing after the first guess. Its largest group in that replay came on August 8, 2026, when the answer was PRIVY and 661 candidates survived.
