How the Conexo helper works

Test four-word group hypotheses against a complete nonoverlapping partition. Work from the information you have already revealed; this helper does not fetch an official daily answer.

Results use the puzzle you enter; they are not verified daily answers. Your entries stay out of public URLs.

Check the whole board

An attractive four-word group can leave twelve entries that cannot form three remaining groups. This helper checks the full partition and displays where candidate groups compete for an entry.

Original worked example

The sixteen-word example separates into fruit, colours, insects and musical instruments under the supplied reference vocabulary. No publisher board is reproduced. Add your own plausible category interpretations for unfamiliar words.

Use official feedback as a constraint

Record a confirmed group to keep it fixed. Record a rejected quartet to exclude that exact set. A missing cover means the hypothesis set may be incomplete; it does not prove the official puzzle is invalid.

Independent lexical evidence

The helper includes WordNet 3.0: 147,306 indexed words and phrases with 117,659 senses. It shows distinct meanings, synonyms and broader categories with their source identifiers. These are dictionary relations, not the publisher’s model, ranking or answer key. A small original topic vocabulary and your own references add further hypotheses.
