How the Connections: Sports Edition helper works

Investigate source-backed relationships among an entered board of 16 entities. Results show their reference coverage and evidence links.

Results use the puzzle you enter; they are not verified daily answers. Your entries stay out of public URLs.

Test a relationship without declaring a category

A set of four recorded members of the same team is a useful hypothesis, but the board may use another era, role or word sense. Enter all sixteen names so the helper can show overlaps: an athlete who belongs to two plausible groups may be the deliberate ambiguity.

Keep missing entities in view

Names absent from the bounded reference remain unresolved. They are not silently removed from the board or assigned a made-up relationship. A checked table can add an entity sense and its evidence; the final intended partition still requires solving the actual Sports Edition puzzle.
