How the Flagle helper works
- The flag is revealed in parts; wrong guesses give centre-to-centre distance and direction.
- Use several observations together; keep a tolerance for differing coordinate and boundary models.
Compare country clues against a 242-feature geographic reference. Results show their reference coverage and evidence links.
Results use the puzzle you enter; they are not verified daily answers. Your entries stay out of public URLs.
Separate flag evidence from geographic feedback
A visible stripe or emblem may be shared by several flags. Start with a plausible country, enter its distance and direction feedback, and compare the geographic shortlist with the next revealed flag section. The helper does not label a flag from an image or infer an unseen colour.
Avoid overconfident exclusions
A centre-to-centre estimate can differ by hundreds of kilometres when a country spans islands or overseas areas. Keep a reasonable tolerance, use a second bearing, and exclude a country only when your visible flag evidence rules it out. The reference’s country and territory inventory is separate from Flagle’s accepted list.
