Framed helper

Narrow film leads from known cast, release and title clues.

Your puzzle

One per line: actor = Tom Hanks; director = Christopher Nolan; year >= 1990; genre = science fiction film; country = United States. Use = for a recorded match, != for a known exclusion, >= or <= for years. Missing claims remain unresolved.

* means any text; ? means one character. Leave blank for every title/name.

Extend coverage with your own checked facts. Header example: name | year | country | source. Then one candidate per line, comma-separated multiple values. Evidence links are displayed without being fetched.

The example illustrates the helper; it is not a publisher's daily puzzle.

How the Framed helper works

Narrow film leads from known cast, release and title clues. Results show their reference coverage and evidence links.

Results use the puzzle you enter; they are not verified daily answers. Your entries stay out of public URLs.

Use a recognized fact before using a title hunch

If you recognize a performer, enter the performer’s full name as an actor constraint and add any reliable release-year bound. A supported match has a recorded cast statement; a film with an incomplete cast list remains unresolved rather than being declared impossible.

Reassess after each new frame

Another frame can reveal a setting, period or performer that changes the strongest clue. Replace an uncertain assumption instead of stacking contradictory guesses. The reference is a selected film collection and does not recognize the screenshot, so an empty supported list is not proof that the game’s answer is invalid.
