GuessTheGame helper

Narrow video-game leads from platform, developer, genre and year clues.

Your puzzle

One per line: platform = Nintendo Entertainment System; developer = Nintendo; year <= 2000. Use = for a recorded match, != for a known exclusion, >= or <= for years. Missing claims remain unresolved.

* means any text; ? means one character. Leave blank for every title/name.

Extend coverage with your own checked facts. Header example: name | year | country | source. Then one candidate per line, comma-separated multiple values. Evidence links are displayed without being fetched.

The example illustrates the helper; it is not a publisher's daily puzzle.

How the GuessTheGame helper works

Narrow video-game leads from platform, developer, genre and year clues. Results show their reference coverage and evidence links.

Results use the puzzle you enter; they are not verified daily answers. Your entries stay out of public URLs.

Use platform and date clues together

A platform clue and an upper release-year bound are more informative together than a broad visual genre. Enter only facts the game reveals or you can substantiate. The reference retains separate game entities, so a remake or similarly named sequel may require a Q-ID to avoid ambiguity.

Account for release differences

The earliest recorded release can precede the edition, region or platform in the screenshot. Treat a near-boundary year mismatch as a reason to inspect the linked record. The helper cannot recognize a screenshot or certify membership in the publisher’s eligible game list.
