How the Lettergrams helper works

Check your arrangement, tile inventory, connected words and score. Enter your own puzzle state to calculate candidates or check its constraints.

Results use the puzzle you enter; they are not verified daily answers. Your entries stay out of public URLs.

Work through a position

A crossing tile contributes to both its across and down word. If T is on DL, its letter points are doubled separately in each word; the report lists each contribution.

Read the result carefully

A dictionary-valid partial board is not complete until all twelve tiles are used and connected. Daily maximum and stars are not asserted.
