Movie Grid helper

Find film intersections and a non-repeating nine-cell assignment.

Your puzzle

One per line. Examples: actor = Tom Hanks; year >= 1990; genre = drama film. Each row takes one supported predicate.

One per line, using the same syntax. A cell needs positive evidence for both its row and column.

Header then candidates: name | actor | director | year | source. Comma-separate multiple values. These are your facts; links are not fetched.

How the Movie Grid helper works

Find film intersections and a non-repeating nine-cell assignment. Results show their reference coverage and evidence links.

Results use the puzzle you enter; they are not verified daily answers. Your entries stay out of public URLs.

Translate a header precisely

An actor header means recorded cast membership; a director header means a directing credit. They are separate fields even when one person did both jobs. A title pattern such as *the* checks the reference title text and does not establish that the publisher treats translated or alternate titles identically.

Use the assignment to avoid a late duplicate

The cell lists show alternatives while the matching result reserves a different film for each intersection. This is an existence proof in the reference facts, not a rarity recommendation. TV, Deep Cut and other variants may use different eligible titles; supply an appropriate checked table for those cases.
