How the Nerdle helper works
- Classic equations have eight symbols; Mini equations have six.
- There is exactly one equals sign with a calculation on its left and a number on its right.
- Multiplication and division come before addition and subtraction; repeated feedback uses the available count of each symbol.
Enter known symbols and previous feedback to narrow mathematically true Classic or Mini equations. Exact fractions preserve division and operator precedence.
Results use the puzzle you enter; they are not verified daily answers. Your entries stay out of public URLs.
Locate the equals sign
A pattern such as 9*..=180 already fixes the result and most operators. Exact division of 180 by 9 leaves 20, producing the eight-symbol equation 9*20=180.
Preserve repeated-symbol evidence
One colored 1 and one absent 1 can mean exactly one available copy. Enter both marks; banning the digit outright or assuming both copies are present loses information.
Supported puzzle types

- Mini equation search and checking
Scope of this helper
- Player-entered symbols only; no daily equation feed.
- Generation is bounded. Equal numeric values do not establish the publisher’s commutative acceptance; written target candidates remain separate.
