One pattern per word, separated by spaces: ... ....

One group per word; use - for none. Repeat a letter only when that many copies are confirmed.

One group per word; use - for none. Do not ban a letter if another copy is present in that word.

Dictionary and candidate scope

The local dictionary is independent of the publisher's accepted list. Names, phrases and short words may need a list you enter.

Used only when Words I enter is selected. Separate 1–48-letter words with spaces or new lines; up to 2,000 words.

The example illustrates the helper; it is not a publisher's daily puzzle.

How the Phrazle helper works

Find word candidates for each position in your phrase. Enter your own puzzle state to calculate candidates or check its constraints.

Results use the puzzle you enter; they are not verified daily answers. Your entries stay out of public URLs.

Work through a position

In C.T D.G, the first position can be CAT or COT and the second DOG or DIG. A purple letter concerns a different word; it does not fix the word in which that letter belongs.

Read the result carefully

This is a per-word constraint helper, not a semantic phrase solver or automatic interpretation of duplicate color marks.
