Pinpoint helper

Compare only revealed clues, test common categories and shared compound links.

Your puzzle

One clue per line, in the order you saw them. Do not add unrevealed clues.

Optional: category | word, word, word. Supplements independent WordNet senses and the original topic vocabulary.

One attempted category per line.

Dictionary and candidate scope

The local dictionary is independent of the publisher's accepted list. Names, phrases and short words may need a list you enter.

Used only when Words I enter is selected. Separate 1–48-letter words with spaces or new lines; up to 2,000 words.

The example illustrates the helper; it is not a publisher's daily puzzle.

How the Pinpoint helper works

Compare only revealed clues, test common categories and shared compound links. Work from the information you have already revealed; this helper does not fetch an official daily answer.

Results use the puzzle you enter; they are not verified daily answers. Your entries stay out of public URLs.

Test every clue

APPLE and PEAR fit a fruit hypothesis. That remains a possibility rather than a confirmed answer: a later clue could distinguish fruit from a phrase-based category.

Compare phrases as well as meanings

If visible words can each follow one shared word, inspect those compounds. Check meaning, not merely the joined spelling. This tool reports the exact dictionary combinations so you can assess the connection.

Keep later clues out of early help

The tool sees only the clue lines you enter. Add the next clue after the official game reveals it and rerun; no hidden category or remaining clue is fetched.

Independent lexical evidence

The helper includes WordNet 3.0: 147,306 indexed words and phrases with 117,659 senses. It shows distinct meanings, synonyms and broader categories with their source identifiers. These are dictionary relations, not the publisher’s model, ranking or answer key. A small original topic vocabulary and your own references add further hypotheses.
