Poeltl helper

Filter historical player-reference facts while separating roster uncertainty.

Your puzzle

One per line: nationality = United States; team = Los Angeles Lakers; birth_year >= 1980. Use = for a recorded match, != for a known exclusion, >= or <= for years. Missing claims remain unresolved.

* means any text; ? means one character. Leave blank for every title/name.

Optional checked facts: name | height | team | source. Use centimetres for every height, e.g. 198; put one player per line. No current roster or measurement is inferred from the bundled historical reference.

The example illustrates the helper; it is not a publisher's daily puzzle.

How the Poeltl helper works

Filter historical player-reference facts while separating roster uncertainty. Results show their reference coverage and evidence links.

Results use the puzzle you enter; they are not verified daily answers. Your entries stay out of public URLs.

Separate stable clues from roster clues

A supported birth-year or historical team statement can help investigate a player. Current team, division, conference and jersey number are time-sensitive and are not inferred from old memberships. The basketball-only reference prevents a shared nationality clue from pulling in unrelated football players.

Do not turn a birth year into an exact age

Without a precise birthday and an explicit comparison date, a birth year cannot establish whether someone has already had this year’s birthday. Enter a checked table when exact age or consistent height units matter. Unknown measurements remain unresolved instead of being guessed.
