How to use the Crossclimb solver

  1. Enter the middle words you have solved, one per line. They can be in any order.
  2. Add a known top or bottom word to anchor the ladder, or leave those fields empty.
  3. Find an order that changes exactly one letter at each step. For missing words, switch to patterns and use a dot for each unknown letter.

Two words connect only when they have the same length and differ in exactly one position. Solving the clues and arranging the ladder are separate steps.
