Puzzle date (UTC calendar): . Your local-calendar puzzle may differ near midnight.
This is the six-suspect main case observed on the UTC player calendar. Each suspect has one distinct object and location. These are original deductions from the current case facts; other local dates and the separate mini puzzle can differ.

Who committed the murder?
First deduction
Use the personal traits to assign two more objects, then compare the remaining pair with their locations.
Narrow it down
The chemically marked object belongs at the cafeteria. The suspect already placed on the court cannot own it, leaving the other object in that final pair.
Reveal answer
Deacon Verdigris
Why the answer fits
Comrade Champagne is the only blond suspect, so the key belongs to Champagne. The lawyer requires green eyes: Dr. Crimson and Lord Lavender qualify, but Crimson already has the wine. Therefore Lavender has the lawyer.
With Fuchsia assigned the shiv and Crimson the wine, the only objects left for Dean Glaucous and Deacon Verdigris are the cake and handcuffs. The cake is the sole object whose listed materials include chemicals, tying it to the cafeteria. Verdigris is on the tennis court, so Glaucous must have the cake and Verdigris the handcuffs.
The culprit is identified through the handcuffs. That makes Deacon Verdigris the murderer. An independent enumeration finds exactly one complete assignment satisfying all ten case constraints.
Which weapon was used?
First deduction
The decisive object is whichever of the final two cannot be linked to the cafeteria.
Narrow it down
Once the cake is paired with the chemical trace, the metal restraint is the other remaining object.
Reveal answer
a pair of literal golden handcuffs
Why the answer fits
The two final objects are the poisoned cake and the golden handcuffs. The cake must accompany the cafeteria because it alone has chemicals in its material list. Verdigris is already assigned a different location, so the handcuffs are Verdigris’s object.
The culprit-object relation identifies the handcuffs as the murder weapon. The cake helps eliminate an alternative; its threatening name alone does not make it the weapon used.
Where did it happen?
First deduction
The culprit’s location is directly established by an early association. Carry that fact through after the object elimination.
Narrow it down
It is a place used for a racquet sport.
Reveal answer
the tennis court
Why the answer fits
Verdigris is directly associated with the tennis court. Once the object elimination identifies Verdigris as the culprit, that existing location association fixes the crime scene as the tennis court.
For a complete cross-check, the remaining theater and guard tower belong to Champagne and Fuchsia. The shiv cannot be at the theater, so Fuchsia is at the guard tower and Champagne at the theater. These final placements complete the same unique six-person grid.
